I'm a security researcher and GRC engineer (yes, I know it's a weird combo) whose primary focuses of study are admittedly all over the place.
I study (in no particular order) ethical hacking, cloud security, security architecture, DevSecOps, generative AI, malware analysis, malware development, and programming.
My main method to select an article's topic is based on the Rule of Cool. If I, as a cybersecurity professional, would like to learn about something that seems interesting, I'll read up on it, practice it, and put words on a page.
I started my blog for a handful of reasons:
1. I like writing.
2. Researching topics helps me learn.
3. Show proof that I know things.
I'm not to proud to use generative AI to help me as I'm developing tools or troubleshooting during analysis but to be clear... ALL ARTICLES ARE WRITTEN BY ME AND ME ALONE.
